WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Two senior Boeing executives have warned the White House that demanding COVID-19 exams right before travelling on U.S. domestic passenger airline flights could pose substantial economic damage.

“Imposing such a stress on the previously financially beleaguered airline business has the probable for critical unintended repercussions that will ripple throughout the entire economy,” Boeing Professional Airplanes Main Govt Stan Offer and Chief Aerospace Safety Officer Michael Delaney wrote in a letter.
