Malala Yousafzai announces wedding on Twitter

Activist and Nobel Prize recipient Malala Yousafzai introduced her marriage on Twitter Tuesday.

The 24-yr-aged mentioned that she and her newly-wed husband, determined only as Asser, held a smaller nikkah, an Islamic relationship ceremony at which a few indicators a marital contract. They tied the knot at their dwelling in Birmingham, England.

“Today marks a cherished day in my daily life,” Yousafzai wrote in her announcement.

Yousafzai’s announcement came just a couple of months following she said she was doubtful about the idea of relationship in a July 2021 job interview with British Vogue.
