Skopos, the cloth manufacturer that is celebrating its 50th anniversary this year, has just dropped two new patterns Vintage Camelia and Delta Geometric.

Camomile Garden, 1st introduced in 2006, was the perfect blend of typical glamour and modern sophistication launched beneath the Jamasque Label. The label was impressed by historic themes, floral imagery, archive prints and weaves. Timeless types, which include florals, vines, a ornamental paisley scroll and gentle striped styles, partnered in the first sample e-book, with luxurious accents, portraying the romance of English state everyday living. The selection comprised of 5 printed and 1 woven style, all linked with each other by colour. ‘Camelia’ was encouraged by a floor printed floral wallpaper doc dating back to the late 19th Century. The original style was much larger in scale and was interpreted for flatbed monitor printing employing hand separation approaches.

Revisiting this style and design, Skopos has lowered the scale and seemed at an interpretation which marries classic colours and contemporary tones. Classic Camelia has been made for our Anniversary selection. The style and design is now digitally printed, for that reason in alignment with the original floor print strategy, allowing for the graphic block-printed outlines to stay. Classic Camelia has also been re-imagined in a fashionable color palette, great for today’s development for maximalist interiors.
